Electric Circus is a collaboration between inventor Fred Abels & puppeteer Mirjam Langemeijer. They combine authentic puppetry with modern robot techniques. Electric Circus creates memorable and unconventional robots, using them in their street performances.

They have created a little circus monkey that looks very alive.

Paulo Duarte offers a poetic and visual universe that touches and interrogates the ways of how the memory is created.

How memories are created? How do they differ? How can a single event be recounted and transformed in itself?

“Alminhas” is a Portuguese popular expression that designates a monument on a roadside that signals an event. In the expression "Alminhas," the metaphor of the road brings the movement, the glow of thought and the memory in transformation, the imagination in march.

Show based on the readings of Robinson Crusoe.

The original text is listen via wireless headphones and is assumed like a lecture, a telepathic radio broadcast and a score. Starting as an object of collective imagination, many times revisited in literature and cinema, “Sexta-Feira” is located (or drifts) at the confluence of languages. In the process of emission - reception, between word and gesture, the total process of listening and the fragmented and singular look, reinvents itself as a synthesis, an individual and collective creative process, a construction of multiple intersecting narratives.

"Troiando” it’s a performance inspired on the real Trojan Horse, recovered in archaeological excavations on the territory of the modern Turkey.

During two thousand years it was thought it was just a myth and that, if existed, it would have been of wooden. Pure mistake, today we can say that it still exists and is made of bronze!

A Tarumba-Teatro de Marionetas the puppet company that produces every year the International Festival of Puppetry and Animated Forms – FIMFA Lx, in Lisbon, presents in CAMa – Centro de Artes da Marioneta (Puppetry Arts Centre), the new show, Mironescópio: The Love Machine.

A show of little forms inspired by the old Peep Shows and in the first motion pictures experiences of the nineteenth century with the use of devices like Kinetoscope or Mutoscope.

The great erotic experts, Dr. Erotikone, Madame Gigi and Madame Mimi, among other hosts, will present you their valuable Mironescópios. There are no barriers, love is free! Come to discover what really happened in Paradise ... and many other surprises never seen before.

“The Vegetable Nannies” is a strolling interactive performance. Wheeling an ancient Victorian Pram laden with a prized collection of vegetables, the Nannies are out for the day, showing off their allotment cherubs and telling many a tale, like every proud parent would. Audiences are able to befriend, pet, feed & comfort all manner of earthen toddlers, such as Magnus the ambitious downhill-racing watermelon, Jessica the award winning sweet potato beauty queen & even David, the talented little marrow whose ambition is to become a stage actor.

The nine foot loveable rascal, Big Rory, out for a walk with Ochie, his wayward mongrel. Inevitably there's total confusion as the amorous mutt careers around, peeing on lamp posts and heaven knows what else, with Rory in hot pursuit trying to contain the chaos. If you expect a quiet time from this pair, don't book them!

Mike Rowan (aka Big Rory) has been performing on stilts for over thirty years and is one of the most "stilt knowledgeable" people on earth. He has performed in 6 Continents, 35 different countries and more than 100 cities… In April 1988 he became the first person in the world to ski on stilts. He has also climbed 60 feet up ships rigging in stilts. In 2002 he also became the first person to walk on stilts on stilts! In creating Stiltz, the safest stilts ever to be designed, he won the John Logie Baird Award for "The most innovative product from an entrepreneur".

Not much else appears to have survived: an elderly circus director and an adolescent elephant. One is old and experienced and the other cheeky and curious. They love each other dearly, and love to quarrel. When the fresh (as in cheeky) vegetables in the elephants luggage mix themselves in the business, that’s the recipe for plenty of fireworks. Together they form an eccentric trio: the vegetables, the elephant and the old man Paspartout plays musical, humorous street theatre. Bizarre birds, impish elephants, eccentric geriatrics mix with the audience. Laughing is allowed.
